The completed projects include the upgrade and expansion of DT.746 road from Tan Thanh to Hoi Nghia intersection in Bac Tan Uyen and Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province.

This route is a vital transportation link connecting Bac Tan Uyen and Tan Uyen City with neighboring areas and the VSIP III Industrial Park. It also connects to the Bac Tan Uyen – Phu Giao – Bau Bang road and Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4.

Investing in this road contributes to the gradual completion of the urban transportation network infrastructure as planned. It reduces travel time and facilitates cargo transportation to crucial transportation hubs such as Long Thanh Airport and Cai Mep – Thi Vai Port. This enhances operational efficiency, ensures traffic safety, improves the urban aesthetic, and promotes socio-economic development and local investment attraction.

The road is designed according to Grade III plains road standards, with a design speed of 80 Km/h for out-of-town sections and 50-60 Km/h for urban sections. The road has a width of 38 meters, accommodating six lanes, a median divider, safety zones, and sidewalks with brick pavements for the urban section.

The total investment for this project is VND 2,931 billion from the provincial budget, mainly comprising compensation costs of VND 2,053 billion and construction costs of VND 495 billion.

The second significant project is the completion of the Binh Goi Bridge, which spans the Saigon River and is part of Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 3. This bridge connects An Son Ward in Thu An City, Binh Duong Province, and Binh My Commune in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City. The total investment for this project exceeds VND 569 billion.

The Binh Goi Bridge, part of the XL4 contract package of the Ring Road 3 project’s Component 5, has a length of 1.3 km, including a 988-meter bridge section and a 312-meter approach road (172 meters on the Cu Chi side and 140 meters on the Binh Duong side). The bridge has a width of 19.75 meters, and the expressway has a cross-sectional width of four lanes during the initial investment phase, with two-lane parallel roads on both sides.

Construction has reached 75% completion, and the contractor is currently working on sand filling for the approach road.

On the same day, in Dat Quoc Commune, Bac Tan Uyen, former President Nguyen Minh Triet, along with Binh Duong provincial leaders, inaugurated the central monument of the War Zone D Memorial Area.

The central monument of the War Zone D Memorial Area features key components such as technical infrastructure for the entire area, a main gate, a central axis road, a reception house, a traditional house, the Huynh Van Nghe poetry garden, and especially the central monument inspired by the poem “From the time we carried swords to open up new lands.”

Standing at 46 meters tall, the monument and bas-reliefs are clad in copper, creating a symbolic landmark for the entire project. The War Zone D Memorial Area covers an area of approximately 39.8 hectares and is funded by the provincial budget.

This project holds great significance in honoring historical relics and preserving revolutionary memories. It also serves as a “red address” for younger generations to learn about their homeland’s traditions, instilling national pride and providing new impetus for the province’s cultural and tourism sector in this new era of development.
