The VN-Index's fourth consecutive weekly gain couldn't mask underlying weakness as profit-taking pressures emerged last week. The gains were largely driven by the first two sessions, after which stocks turned south amid robust selling pressure, with the VN-Index failing to breach the 1,340-point peak.

The recent adjustments to the master plan of the Waterfront City by Nam Long Investment Joint Stock Company and Aqua City by Novaland Group involve alterations to the width of the riverside green belt corridor and the land swap of select low-rise residential areas for high-rise ones. In contrast, DonaCoop has been granted permission to increase its building height from 15 to 25 stories, with low-rise residential areas now ranging from 2 to 6 stories in height.

Foreign investors offloaded a massive 2,706.1 billion VND, with a staggering 2,768.1 billion VND sold purely through order-matching transactions, marking a stark reversal from three consecutive weeks of net buying.
