The Ministry of Construction is accelerating the finalization of procedures to commence construction on the first five stations of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line on December 19th. This project is poised to usher in a new era of connectivity for the Northern Key Economic Region, linking the Lao Cai international border gate with the Hai Phong seaport.

By 2035, Ho Chi Minh City plans to allocate approximately $37.15 billion to develop nine metro lines, including six in the city center, two extending to Binh Duong, and one connecting to the Vung Tau region.
