The Quang Ninh Province is embarking on an exciting new chapter with the official launch of its pilot program for a two-tier local government model. This innovative approach is set to revolutionize the way the province is governed, and the trial run commencing on June 15th paves the way for a full-scale implementation from July 1st onwards.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, on June 4 in Paris, France, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, head of the Vietnamese government negotiation delegation, and United States Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer, head of the US negotiation delegation, held a ministerial-level negotiation session on the bilateral reciprocal trade agreement between the two countries.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly agreed to exempt air conditioners with a capacity of 24,000 BTU and below, as well as those above 90,000 BTU, from the special consumption tax.
