Mazda3 introduces new variant in Vietnam: Price 739 million VND, adds 4 features while still using 1.5L engine

The Mazda3 1.5L Signature stands out with 4 distinct features and capabilities, while remaining identical to the 1.5L Premium version in all other aspects.


Mazda Vietnam has just added information about the Mazda3 1.5 Signature version on its official website. This is the highest-end version of this model, priced at 739 million VND, which is 10 million VND higher than the 1.5 Premium version (729 million VND).

This version is equipped with 4 premium features, including 18-inch wheels, a 360-degree camera, intelligent braking support when reversing or encountering cross-cutting vehicles while reversing, and intelligent cruise control assistance.

The Signature version is currently only available in the sedan variant, while the highest-end version for the hatchback variant (Mazda3 Sport) is still the Premium version.

The remaining features and equipment are the same as the Premium version. The dimensions are 4,660 x 1,795 x 1,440 mm (length x width x height) with a wheelbase of 2,725 mm. The engine is a Skyactiv-G 1.5L, with a power output of 110 horsepower and a torque of 146 Nm. This power is somewhat modest compared to a C-segment sedan. It comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Mazda3 used to have a version with a 2.0L engine in Vietnam, but it has been discontinued.

Upgrades on the Mazda3 1.5 Signature version

The Mazda3 is popular among Vietnamese customers for its beautiful and stylish design. The exterior is equipped with LED headlights, daytime running lights, and LED taillights. The interior and seats are leather-wrapped and neatly designed. The 3-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in leather and integrated with menu buttons, volume control, and hands-free phone calling. The 8.8-inch center screen is placed in a raised position, with a new Mazda Connect operating system and a HUD screen displaying information on the windshield.

In addition, the Mazda3 also features some notable equipment such as auto-dimming rearview mirrors, an 8-speaker sound system, dual-zone independent air conditioning, a sunroof, electronic parking brake with brake hold function…

The Mazda3 has a leading safety system in its segment, and even surpasses some D-segment models with the premium i-Activsense safety package. This package includes features such as blind-spot warning, lane departure warning, cross-traffic alert when reversing, lane-keeping assistance, smart brake support, radar-integrated adaptive cruise control, automatic adjustment of headlight projection angle according to steering input, automatic high beam control.
