A Suzuki dealer in the southern region has customized some Jimny. According to sales consultants at the dealership, these customized Suzuki Jimny can be delivered in February 2024 for the Lunar New Year holiday. The price of the car is 999 million VND.
A brand new Suzuki Jimny has been customized to look like a Mercedes-AMG G 63 at the dealership.
The customized Jimny is priced about 200 million VND higher than the expected price of the regular version. The expected listed price of the Jimny is 789 million VND for the single-color version and 799 million VND for the two-tone version. This price matches the pre-tax price announced by the Ministry of Finance at the beginning of the year.
The seller said that this Suzuki Jimny has been customized in the style of the Mercedes-AMG G 63. In terms of the exterior, the car has been fitted with a new bumper, grille, wheel arches, LED lighting system, 2 high lights near the hood, door trim, LED taillights, and a rear bumper resembling the G-Class from the new generation. The side turn signal lights have been removed, while the Suzuki logo remains unchanged.
The exterior of the car looks spacious and has some similarities to the G 63.
The interior of the car has also been replaced with air vents styled after the “tuba” design found in the G-Class. The seats have been reupholstered with leather.
The interior of the car has undergone minor changes, but most of the original details remain.
Other amenities inside the Jimny remain the same, such as the 7-inch touch screen entertainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, 6-way manual-adjustable front seats, 4-way manual-adjustable rear seats, single-zone automatic air conditioning… The interior equipment of the car is quite simple compared to other cars in the price range of about 700 million VND.
This customized Jimny still uses the original engine. The 1.5L engine, code-named K15B, delivers a power output of 103 horsepower and a torque of 138 Nm, along with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-wheel drive system.
The original Suzuki Jimny has a different exterior.
The Suzuki Jimny is imported to Vietnam with only one 3-door configuration. The car has a compact size, comparable to A-segment cars. The overall dimensions of the car are 3,645 x 1,645 x 1,720 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,250 mm. This model has no direct competitors in its segment.
