The revenue from retail sales of goods in January 2024 is estimated at 407.5 trillion dong, an increase of 7.3% compared to the same period last year.
Specifically, the group of cultural and educational products increased by 22.5%; household goods increased by 13.4%; food and foodstuff increased by 6.2%; transportation (excluding cars) increased by 2.5%; apparel increased by 1.5%.
The revenue from retail sales of goods in January 2024 compared to the same period last year in some localities such as Quang Ninh increased by 11%; Hai Phong increased by 10.4%; Da Nang increased by 9.2%; Dong Nai increased by 8.1%; Ho Chi Minh City increased by 7.5%; Binh Duong increased by 7.0%; Hanoi increased by 6.1%; Binh Dinh increased by 4.2%.
The revenue from accommodation and dining services in January 2024 is estimated at 58.9 trillion dong, an increase of 10.2% compared to the same period last year. Specifically, Da Nang increased by 29.9%; Ho Chi Minh City increased by 14.7%; Hanoi increased by 10.8%; Thua Thien – Hue increased by 9.3%; Bac Ninh increased by 8.1%; Binh Dinh increased by 7.0%; Binh Duong increased by 6.6%.

Therefore, the revenue from tour operation in January 2024 is estimated at 4.4 trillion dong, an increase of 18.5% compared to the same period last year.
