The Ministry of Industry and Trade proposes that principal gasoline producers, principal gasoline traders, and gasoline distribution traders strictly implement the Prime Minister’s Dispatches and the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Directive No. 01/Ct-BCT of January 2, 2024 regarding the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Dispatch No. 1437/CĐ-TTg of December 30, 2023 on ensuring sufficient gasoline supply for production, business, and consumption of the people and enterprises.

Principal gasoline producers shall strictly implement the registered production plans with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, proactively secure gasoline supply, and ensure appropriate gasoline reserves to supply gasoline to principal gasoline traders according to the agreed upon quantities and timelines between the parties.

Principal gasoline traders shall strictly and fully implement the minimum total gasoline supply of 2024, which has been allocated and planned for quarterly total supplies as registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade. They should proactively secure gasoline supply and ensure appropriate gasoline reserves according to regulations to fully supply the market in all situations.

Principal gasoline traders and gasoline distribution traders must absolutely not disrupt gasoline supply in the business system (from principal traders, distribution traders, to retail businesses). They must, in all situations, provide sufficient gasoline to retail stores within the distribution system of the enterprise to maintain regular sales activities. The focus is on sharing supply and sharing profits within the distribution system.

The focus is on sharing supply and sharing profits within the distribution system in a reasonable manner to ensure uninterrupted gasoline supply to the market. Sufficient manpower should be arranged, and regular or overtime shifts should be organized to maintain continuous and regular sales activities for the market, especially before, during, and after the Tet holiday in 2024.

During the implementation of the above-mentioned tasks, if there are difficulties or obstacles, please report to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Domestic Market Division) for timely solutions.
