The VW Teramont X has arrived at the dealership and is starting to be delivered to customers. According to sales consultants, the first batch of Teramont X was delivered to customers before Tet with a quantity of about 20 cars. Some Teramont X cars have been registered. The price of the car is 2.168 billion VND.

Although Teramont X has started to be sold by dealerships, this model has not yet been officially announced by Volkswagen Vietnam.
Teramont X is considered a sportier version with a 5-seat configuration of the Teramont line. This is the latest upgrade, so the design has many differences compared to the regular Teramont currently on the market. The sales consultant at the dealership said that the new Teramont with a design similar to Teramont X will also be available in Vietnam this year.
Being a sportier version, Teramont X has many details painted in glossy black, such as the grille, mirror covers, rims, window trims… The imported version in Vietnam uses a 2-tier LED matrix headlights, 19-inch wheels, and illuminated logos at the front and back.
In the interior, the version sold in Vietnam has 2 screens, including a 10.25-inch screen behind the steering wheel and a 12-inch screen in the center with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support. The entertainment system features a Harman Kardon 12-speaker audio system. Some other notable features in the car include interior ambient lighting, electronic parking brake, wireless charging, 3-zone automatic air conditioning, and a panoramic sunroof.
The seats are upholstered in 2-tone leather. The front seats are power-adjustable, heated, and equipped with a massage function. The power tailgate can be opened hands-free.
The car’s engine is a turbocharged 2.0L with 220 horsepower, 350 Nm of torque, combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and 4-wheel drive.
The safety technology on the Teramont X is on par with its competitors, featuring early collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera.
The early release of the VW Teramont X will give Ford Explorer a tough competition as the Teramont line now offers both 5-seat and 7-seat configurations with distinct designs for Vietnamese customers to choose from. The listed price of the Teramont X is also lower than the Explorer. However, the old batch of Explorer cars has seen a reduction of up to 440 million VND.
