The reputation of Son Hai Group has been on the rise since 2014, when the expansion of National Highway 1A was being implemented throughout the North-South route. At that time, the quality of construction and the solution to prevent rutting and wheel track marks on the road surface were the main concerns for investors and construction contractors in the Central region. During that period, contractors nationwide only provided a 2-year warranty for road sections.
However, Son Hai surprised everyone by offering a 5-year warranty for two packages that it executed, which were package 10 and package 14 in Quang Binh province, spanning a length of 15 km.
Recently, Son Hai has once again made headlines. In October 2022, it announced a 10-year warranty for a high-speed road. In May 2023, it completed the Nha Trang – Cam Lam highway 3 months ahead of schedule, and at the beginning of 2024, it proposed reducing the construction time of the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau high-speed route from 36 to 24 months.
Building roads quickly and accurately is just one of the business sectors of Son Hai Group. In fact, Son Hai is a multi-sector business group that operates in various fields such as renewable energy, real estate, hotels, and tourism.
According to the company’s introduction, Son Hai has a 28 MW Dak Rong 4 hydropower project with a total investment of 1,400 billion VND.
The project’s main items include a permanent concrete dam and a free overflow dam, with a maximum dam height of 28m and a total dam length of 283m. The water tunnel through the mountain and the 3.2 km-long pressure pipes have a tunnel diameter of 6.5m and a steel pressure pipe with a wide diameter of 6m. The construction and management road is paved with asphalt concrete, with a width of 5m and a length of 6 km. The power line connecting the plant to the national power grid is 8 km long, connecting to the Khe Sanh – Ta Rut 110kV transmission line.

In addition, Son Hai has the Dak Rong 3 hydropower project with an exploitation capacity of 8.8 MW and a total investment of 400 billion VND; and the Khe Song hydropower plant with an exploitation capacity of 4.5 MW and a total investment of 180 billion VND.

In addition, Son Hai is investing in the Hướng Sơn 1 2 3 4 hydropower plant cluster with an expected capacity of 120 MW and a total investment of 5,000 billion VND.
In the real estate sector, Son Hai has the Nam Cau Dai urban area project, with an area of more than 40 hectares, including 141 villas, 420 semi-detached houses, and houses combined with business activities, with a total investment of over 5,000 billion VND.
In addition, Son Hai also has the Truong Phuc Phan urban area, covering an area of 10 hectares, including 245 semi-detached houses and houses combined with business activities, with a total investment of 500 billion VND.
The group is also investing in a 5-star hotel with more than 25 floors; a high-end apartment complex in Da Nang with 22 floors; and a 5-star resort on the Bao Minh beach with an area of 22.6 hectares and a total investment of 2,300 billion VND.

In 2023, Son Hai Group achieved nearly 4,000 billion VND in revenue, contributed over 106 billion VND to the state budget, becoming the largest corporate income tax contributor in the province. It provides stable livelihoods for more than 1,700 employees, with an average income of 24 million VND per month.
Son Hai affirms that it has never owed salaries or bonuses, taxes or insurance, and has never had overdue debts with banks.
