Mr. Trieu Van Hanh – Deputy Head of Tan Thanh Customs Department – said: In order to facilitate the import and export of goods for businesses at the beginning of the year, the customs forces have actively grasped the situation, actively guided businesses, and processed declaration procedures according to the correct process.

In the waiting area for exports at Huu Nghi International Border, many vehicles are mainly loaded with fresh fruits such as jackfruit and durian, running their engines ready for customs clearance. Officials and staff on duty at the border closely coordinate, creating the most favorable conditions for the first trading shipments to pass through smoothly.

The Health Quarantine Officials at Tan Thanh Border have extended working hours and streamlined administrative procedures to quickly export fruits to China.

The functional forces at the border have arranged officers to work, ensuring readiness to serve smooth import and export activities. Not only processing procedures for pre-registered batches, especially unregistered batches, particularly fresh fruits, the customs authorities are still ready to handle procedures and create the most favorable conditions for the quickest customs clearance of goods.

It is known that starting from February 18th, all border gates in the province will resume normal customs clearance. Import and export of goods will take place smoothly at the province’s two important border gates right from the beginning of the Lunar New Year, signaling optimistic and positive signs for the province’s border trade activities in the coming time.
