Exceeding the profit plan for 2023
Recently, SD5 has announced its financial statements for the fourth quarter of 2023, with net revenue decreasing by 21% compared to the same period, reaching 421 billion VND. However, SD5 still made a net profit of 3.4 billion VND, instead of a loss of 1.5 billion VND as in the same period last year, thanks to positive support from financial activities.
Specifically, in the last quarter of 2023, financial activities brought in nearly 9.2 billion VND in profit, while in the same period last year, there was a loss of nearly 3 billion VND, contributed by exchange rate differences.
For the whole year of 2023, SD5 achieved net revenue of 2,262 billion VND and a net profit of 21 billion VND, an increase of 26% and 21% respectively compared to the previous year. Compared to the net profit target of nearly 21 billion VND approved at the regular GMS in 2023, SD5 has exceeded the set plan by nearly 2%.
