Concerning alcohol levels, during the 7-day Lunar New Year holiday period in 2024 (from the 29th day to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), the Traffic Police Force throughout Thanh Hoa province fined 1,101 cases, with fines totaling nearly 4.3 billion VND. Firefighting work, readiness of forces, organizing timely fire fighting, rescue, prevented 8 fire incidents; prevented 1 attempted suicide.
The security situation in various routes, areas, and locations in Thanh Hoa province has been maintained, without any “surprising” or “sudden” incidents. Criminal law has been restrained and reduced by 29.41%. No serious and particularly serious cases have occurred within this province; traffic accidents reduced by 8.3%…
As such, the situation of crime and law violations related to social order and safety has been restrained and reduced compared to the same period in 2023. Specifically, Thanh Hoa province saw 12 criminal law violations (a decrease of 29.41%). The police force has investigated and clarified 11 out of the 12 cases, reaching 91%.
This year, 100% of the officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Force in Thanh Hoa province did not take a break for the Lunar New Year but concentrated their forces to implement coordinated measures to ensure traffic order and safety. With the spirit of “Through the night, through the Lunar New Year,” resolutely and strictly handling violations “No restricted area, no exceptions,” not neglecting violations due to superstitions about the Lunar New Year, the Traffic Police Force of Thanh Hoa province has coordinated the establishment of patrol and control teams combined with checkpoint inspections, strictly handling violations related to traffic order and safety, such as overloaded vehicles, reckless overtaking, speed violations, carrying awkward goods, overloading, especially violations related to alcohol levels.
