Viettel Construction Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Construction – stock code CTR) has announced its business results for January 2024 with revenue of VND 868.7 billion, a 15% growth compared to the same period in 2023. Pre-tax profit reached VND 49.8 billion, a 17% growth compared to the same period in 2023.
In the first month of 2024, Viettel Construction recorded growth in revenue in all business segments. Among them, the operation and exploitation field continued to contribute the largest revenue with VND 450.5 billion (comprising nearly 52%), a 2.4% increase compared to the same period; The construction field achieved revenue of VND 261.3 billion, a 12% increase and accounting for 30% proportion.
The solution and technical services field experienced the strongest growth with over 64%, achieving revenue of VND 109.4 billion, contributing 13%. Meanwhile, revenue from the infrastructure leasing sector also grew strongly by 54% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching VND 44.4 billion, accounting for 5% of Viettel Construction’s total revenue.
As of the end of January 2024, Viettel Construction owns 6,436 BTS stations (maintaining its position as the number one TowerCo in Vietnam); 1.87 million square meters of DAS; 2,716 kilometers of transmission; 16.87 MWp of solar energy; 213 BTS stations rented by more than 2 network operators. The co-use ratio reached 1.03. In terms of construction, the rate of project coverage constructed by Viettel Construction is 682/701 districts (equivalent to 92.3%); 2,535/10,609 communes (equivalent to 21.4%).
In the integrated solution field, Viettel Construction has successfully signed a 1,250 KWp (~VND 16 billion) project for Yamaha Motor Vietnam. In the ME&ICT field, the company has introduced 03 new OEM products under the AlO brand (electric rice cooker, electric kettle, electric pressure cooker). In the Technical Services field, Viettel Construction has successfully signed a maintenance contract for air-conditioning and water filtration systems for the FPT Retail chain (worth nearly VND 5 billion).
In the domestic operation and exploitation field, Viettel Construction has implemented new KPIs for 6 VHKT contracts with Viettel Group worth more than VND 15,850 billion. In the overseas market, the company has ensured all network KPs and handled transmission incidents for Mytel (in Myanmar) and MetFone (in Cambodia); Successfully signed with Mytel a fixed broadband (CĐBR) VHKT contract for Mandalay province in Myanmar.
In 2024, Viettel Construction sets a target of consolidated total revenue of over VND 12,653 billion and pre-tax profit of VND 671.4 billion, an increase of 10% and 4% respectively compared to 2023. With the achieved results in the first month, the company has accomplished 6.9% of the revenue plan and 7.4% of the annual profit target.
