An Trung Industries, a subsidiary of Hanoi Plastics (a member of An Phat Holdings Group), is invested in and owns a modern production line system that is imported entirely from Korea, Japan, and other countries. This investment is to meet the strict standards of high-standard markets such as Canada, the United States, and the EU.

According to the company, the first shipment to cooperate with the Costco supermarket chain is plastic food containers made of PP material. Mr. Ngo Van Thu, General Director of Hanoi Plastics, mentioned: “This is the first time An Trung Industries has exported household plastic products but managed to cooperate with a major partner worldwide. With our many years of experience, we are confident in meeting the high standards of large markets, and at the same time, we will continue to research and improve the quality even further. Currently, the US plastic household import market is worth nearly 8 billion USD per year, making it the largest importer of plastic household products in the world. Therefore, we will continue to expand production to develop in this market.”

In addition to ISO9001, ISO14001, and HACCP certifications for the manufacturing plant, An Trung Industries’ food containers also meet a chain of certifications for food safety such as FDA, reusable, safe for dishwashing machines, safe for microwaves, safe for freezers, and leak-proof.

An Trung Industries’ food containers are closely quality-controlled according to the requirements of partners, ensuring safety for users.

According to Mr. Thu, the maximum production capacity of the factory is expected to reach 8 million products per year, fully meeting the large demand of customers. In addition, food products are produced in an absolute cleanroom, with strict preservation processes from input materials, machine hygiene, and careful raw materials.

Prior to this, An Trung Industries has also manufactured other plastic food items such as knives, spoons, forks, straws, etc. and electronic components for export to countries including Brazil, Taiwan (China), the Philippines, Canada, India, Japan, etc. All shipments have received positive evaluations from partners and customers.

Costco Wholesale is a well-known retail chain of the United States with a large number of warehouses and huge product ranges, present in many major countries worldwide.
