On this occasion, Saigon Co.op was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit for its excellent achievements in organizing care for the Lunar New Year 2024 (Year of the Goat) awarded by Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
The conference announced that the total budget for the Lunar New Year 2024 of the City is nearly 1.3 trillion VND, an increase of 5.2% compared to 2023. With the motto “Happy and Warm Tet – Safe and Economical”, Saigon Co.op has joined hands with the City government to take care of the material and spiritual lives of the people, ensuring that everyone, every household has a joyful Spring and welcomes Lunar New Year.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc – General Director of Saigon Co.op said that in order to proactively supply sources and ensure price stability to serve the consumer demand of the people in the 3 months before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2024, Saigon Co.op has deployed the construction of a plan and organized the implementation of inventory reserves from mid-2023. The majority of the budget prioritizes 9 groups of goods to stabilize the market with an increase of 20% – 50% compared to normal months, corresponding to a total value of up to 10,000 billion VND.
