According to the decision issued on February 1, 2024, the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh province aims to increase the total floor area of housing by more than 3 million m2 in 2024 through the development of 28,065 housing units, including: 3,030 social housing units; 2,000 resettlement housing units (resettlement by land, people self-build houses); and 23,035 commercial housing units and self-built houses.
Accordingly, the average housing area is estimated to reach about 29.5 m2/person; in urban areas, it is about 30.9 m2/person, and in rural areas, it is about 28 m2/person. The rate of solid housing is estimated to reach about 94.7%.

In 2023, Tay Ninh only increased an additional 364,537 m2 of total floor area of housing, including: 321,608 m2 of self-built houses (equivalent to about 2,923 units); 8,473 m2 of commercial housing; 34,456 m2 of social housing; no public housing projects were developed in the year.
The average floor area per person in the province is 28.72 m2/person (of which: urban areas reach 30.57 m2/person; rural areas reach 27.62 m2/person). The rate of solid and semi-solid housing is 94.4%, while the rate of substandard and simple houses is 5.6%.
Regarding social housing, Tay Ninh had no new projects in 2023 and is continuing to implement two projects. Firstly, the social housing apartment project in Thanh Pho Vang, invested by Thanh Pho Vang Investment Corporation, is constructing Phase 1A with an achieved rate of about 73% and Phase 2A with an achievement rate of about 2.5%.
The other project is the Van Phat Hung residential area, invested by Nam Phong Investment and Construction Corporation, which is carrying out legal procedures for land, construction, with a scale of 107 units.
