According to Autocar India, Hyundai is expected to introduce the Creta N Line on March 11, 2024, and open bookings at the end of the month. This means that the Creta N Line will debut about 2 months after the regular version.
With Hyundai Thanh Cong bringing the “sibling” Elantra N Line to Vietnam, the new sporty version of the Creta is also likely to be officially sold. If so, the direct competitor of the Hyundai Creta N Line in Vietnam will be the Honda HR-V RS.
The Hyundai Creta N Line was spotted on the streets of India in late January while filming a commercial.
The design of the N Line version, revealed in Mumbai, India, features sporty exhaust pipes, exclusive 18-inch wheels, and N Line logos on the front grille and tailgate, as well as more aggressive front/rear bumpers.
The Hyundai Creta N Line is based on the recently launched mid-life facelift. Therefore, this model has a more angular front end, reminiscent of its big brother, the Palisade. The new angular grille design with a central air intake underneath also uses a simple rectangular interface. The LED daytime running lights have been moved up above the hood and are connected on both sides, replacing the integrated type in the front grille like the currently sold model in Vietnam. The LED taillights also extend to both sides, similar to the front lights.
The interior of this version retains the design of the regular Hyundai Creta. The differences include a mix of red and black tones, as well as the distinctive N Line steering wheel and gear lever.
Inside the cabin, the facelifted Hyundai Creta features two 10.25-inch displays placed side by side in the dashboard area, below which are the multi-color ambient lighting that contributes to a modern and luxurious feel throughout the area. Some other notable equipment of the car includes dual-zone automatic air conditioning, Bose speakers, ventilated front seats, and power-adjustable driver’s seat.
The engine used in the Hyundai Creta N Line will be a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine producing 160 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque. This is a significant upgrade compared to the 1.0L engine used in the regular version. It will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The suspension system is expected to be firmer, providing a more sporty driving experience.
Compared to the Honda HR-V RS, the engine of the Creta N Line will have lower power by 14 horsepower but slightly higher torque by 13 Nm.
