On February 26, Mitsubishi Vietnam organized the Xforce test drive event at Dai Nam Racing Track (Binh Duong), and at the same time, displayed the GLX standard version for the first time. This version has a price of 620 million VND, directly competing with the Hyundai Creta Standard (640 million VND) or the Kia Seltos 1.4L Turbo Deluxe (609 million VND), and is cheaper than the Toyota Yaris Cross Gasoline (650 million VND) or the Honda HR-V G (699 million VND).

       Â
The Mitsubishi Xforce GLX has a similar exterior to the high-end versions with full LED headlights and taillights. The fog lights are removed. This is understandable, as the Xforce is an urban SUV, where fog lights are not needed, especially in the southern region.

       Â
The wheels are 17 inches in size, while the higher-end versions use 18-inch wheels, but in reality, it is difficult to tell. Using smaller wheels makes the ground clearance of the GLX slightly lower, at 219 mm, higher than the Kia Seltos (190 mm) and Hyundai Creta (200 mm).

       Â
This version still has dimensions of 4,390 x 1,810 x 1,660 mm in length, width, and height respectively, and a wheelbase length of 2,650 mm.

Some other equipment not available on this version includes reverse sensors, automatic wipers, automatic headlights, power trunk, and tire pressure sensors. Overall, even though it is a standard version, the equipment and features on the Mitsubishi Xforce are sufficient.

The Mitsubishi Xforce GLX has similar performance to the high-end versions. The engine is still the MIVEC 1.5L, 4-cylinder type, with a capacity of 105 PS and torque of 141 Nm. It has a CVT automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. This version is also equipped with Active Yaw Control (AYC) technology to help stabilize the car when cornering or making sharp turns.

The trunk is manually opened and closed.

The interior of the Mitsubishi Xforce GLX is cleverly designed, without the feeling of being a cheap version. In the middle of the dashboard is an 8-inch touch screen entertainment system, along with amenities such as push-button start, electronic parking brake, and automatic brake hold. These features are still considered high-end compared to the standard version of some competitors.

The screen provides many detailed operating specifications such as front and rear tilt angles, side tilt angles, direction, G force, brake force, steering angle… This feature is usually only seen on luxury or expensive sports cars.
           Â

       Â
The air conditioning adjustment cluster has a screen that helps create a modern overall cabin.
           Â

       Â
The dashboard is a traditional type with 2 analog gauges and a multi-information screen in the middle.

However, the seats are only covered in fabric, without a Yamaha sound system, wireless charging, or interior decorative lights. The rear seats still have air vents and separate charging ports. The safety technology on the GLX version includes ABS, EBD, BA, reverse camera, and 4 airbags.
