At 15:30, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) adjusted the price down to 76.9-78.9 million VND/tael, a decrease of 600 thousand VND/tael compared to the end of the morning session.
DOJI Group and Bao Tin Minh Chau both lowered the selling price of SJC gold to 78.85 million VND/tael.

As of 10:30 am on February 27, the price of SJC gold continued to rise sharply and reached its highest level since the beginning of the year 2024.
Specifically, Saigon Jewelry Company raised the price of gold to 77.5-79.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 700 thousand VND/tael compared to yesterday. Similarly, DOJI Group and Bao Tin Minh Chau also increased the selling price of gold to 79.45 million VND/tael. Phu Nhuan Precious Stone Gold increased its price to 77.7-79.5 million VND/tael.

The listed price of 9999 plain gold here also increased by about 50 thousand VND/tael to 63.7-65.0 million VND/tael.
At Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ), the listed price of SJC gold also increased by 400 thousand VND/tael to 77.2-79.2 million VND/tael. The price of plain 24k gold increased by 100 thousand VND/tael to 63.65-64.8 million VND/tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau also significantly increased the price of plain round gold to 64.98-66.08 million VND/tael. SJC gold is listed here at 77.35-79.15 million VND/tael.
DOJI Group listed the price of SJC gold at 77.15-79.15 million VND/tael, an increase compared to yesterday. The listed price of 9999 plain gold is at 64.15-65.75 million VND/tael.
Therefore, from the beginning of February to now, the price of SJC gold has increased by about 1 million VND/tael. The price of plain gold has also increased by about 600-700 thousand VND/tael during this period.
On the international market, spot gold prices are hovering around $2,030/ounce, equivalent to about 61 million VND/tael when converted at the VND/USD exchange rate, excluding taxes and fees. The DXY index, which measures the strength of the USD against major currencies, has decreased slightly but still remained high at 103.75 points. The 10-year US Treasury bond yield is at 4.413%. The continued strength of the USD and bond yields still puts pressure on precious metals.
