WINCOMMERCE IMPLEMENTS STRATEGIES FOR CONSUMERS
Known for its “Fresh and Premium!” quality for many years, in 2023, WinCommerce (a member of Masan Group) has implemented a series of upgrading activities, renovating stores nationwide to enhance customer experience.
Accordingly, at each point of sale, WinCommerce applies different models, suitable for diverse needs in each locality. The company continuously deploys new stores or upgrades existing ones to different models, including premium supermarkets (average floor area of 500-800m2), urban areas (average floor area of 1000-2000m2), urban WIN convenience stores, WinMart+ urban and suburban areas (average floor area of 100-120m2).
Currently, the number of supermarkets and WinMart/WinMart+/WIN stores nationwide has been increased to over 3,600, serving consumer demand with over 32 million customer visits every month. In December alone, WinCommerce has accelerated opening new stores and upgrading 120 supermarkets and stores (including 102 upgrades and 18 new openings), along with attractive promotional activities to stimulate consumer demand.
Another move in Masan Group’s effort to accompany consumers is the “good price” strategy, providing tangible benefits to consumers in the current challenging economic context. Specifically, WinCommerce has introduced Supra internal logistics company with AI application (Artificial Intelligence) into its operations, helping to reduce costs by 13% and contributing to price reductions. In addition, this retail system also carries out regular promotion programs twice a month; directly connects with reputable suppliers; develops private brands… to stabilize prices for customers.
These efforts were recognized at the Asia Fruit Awards 2023, WinCommerce was honored with the “Retailer of the Year” award.

VIETNAMESE CUSTOMERS “TRUST”
Another member in the consumer – retail ecosystem that helps Masan Group gain points in the eyes of consumers is Masan MEATlife. This is also a pioneer in bringing European fresh meat technology to Vietnamese customers, with advantages in fresh, safe and up to 9-day preservation period.
Since its launch, MEATDeli (the flagship brand of Masan MEATlife) has been ranked in the Top 10 Brands – Services Trusted and Used by VnEconomy for 4 consecutive years, an annual prestigious award voted by consumers nationwide.
Most recently, at the Announcement and Honoring Ceremony on December 21, with the theme “Essential, Practical, Pioneering Breakthrough”, MEATDeli once again received the honor of being among the Top 10 Trusted Products of Vietnam 2023 in the field of Agriculture, Food and Beverages; affirming its beloved position among Vietnamese consumers.

Continuing the consumer sharing activities is the WIN membership program. Specifically, throughout 2023, when participating in the WIN membership program of the WinCommerce system, consumers will save 20% when buying MEATDeli fresh meat and WinEco clean vegetables. It is known that the total number of WIN members nationwide has reached 7 million as of October this year and will continue to conquer new growth milestones.
With innovative and effective initiatives for consumer benefits, Masan Group also contributes to maintaining market share of domestic businesses in a competitive retail market.
According to a recent report by the General Statistics Office, purchasing power in the market has recovered well compared to 2022, commercial and service activities are vibrant and maintain a high growth rate. The total retail sales of goods and consumer services in the fourth quarter of 2023 increased by 9.3% compared to the same period last year. Overall, in 2023, the total retail sales of goods and consumer services increased by 9.6% compared to 2022. This is a good premise for Masan Group to break through, accelerate from now until the Lunar New Year and throughout 2024 on the journey of serving consumers.
