The event will take place from March 9th to 12th, 2024 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province, organized by the Binh Dinh Timber and Forest Products Association (FPA Binh Dinh) and the Viforest Fair Joint Stock Company (under Viforest), with the consent and licensing of the Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee in License No. 1817/SCT-QLTM dated September 18th, 2023.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Le Minh Thien, Chairman of the Binh Dinh Timber and Forest Products Association, stated that Q-FAIR is a unique and special event, which will be held annually in March. At this fair, domestic and international customers will have the opportunity to visit and shop, as well as experience traditional local festivals. The event is held on a beautiful beach located in the city center and will be open all night, allowing visitors to enjoy the cool atmosphere and luxurious space of the fair while shopping and enjoying delicious seafood in Quy Nhon.

Mr. Le Minh Thien: “Q-FAIR 2024 will be a beneficial playground for wood enterprises in Vietnam and internationally”.

Nestled in the picturesque Central Vietnam, with a vision of developing Quy Nhon into the world’s leading outdoor furniture production center. Quy Nhon is not only an attractive tourist destination, but also a leading center for the manufacturing of domestic and outdoor furniture. Q-FAIR 2024 opens up a unique opportunity for domestic and international visitors to witness and experience the positive development and potential of the Vietnamese wood industry.

During the fair, there will be events such as the Q1/2024 Wood Industry National Conference, specialized workshops on wood trade promotion, wood processing technology, and outdoor furniture, as well as tours to visit and trade with wood processing factories in the province. In addition, there will be music performances, traditional cultural events (traditional opera, Bai Choi, Tay Son martial arts, etc.).

“Q-FAIR 2024 covers a total exhibition area of 9,150m2 and attracts more than 1,000 booths from over 100 enterprises related to outdoor furniture products and modern lifestyle services. The fair consists of 5 main exhibition areas: Interior and Exterior Furniture Zone; Raw Materials, Accessories, and Supporting Wood Industry Zone; Wooden House Zone; Outdoor Furniture Zone; Machinery, Wood Processing, and Manufacturing Equipment Zone”.

Mr. Le Minh Thien, Chairman of the Binh Dinh Timber and Forest Products Association.

The success of the “Q-FAIR 2024 International Outdoor Lifestyle Exhibition in Quy Nhon” relies on the active participation of wood enterprises with a common goal of striving to make Vietnam one of the leading countries in wood production, processing, and exporting. The event aims to achieve the government’s target of reaching $20 billion in wood exports by 2025.

“The Q-FAIR 2024 Organizing Committee believes that the fair will be a beneficial playground for wood enterprises in Vietnam and internationally, promoting outdoor-styled products and making Vietnam a leading global production center, and enhancing the presence of the Vietnamese wood industry worldwide,” emphasized Mr. Le Minh Thien.

Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, stated that the province is not only concerned with the development of businesses but also focuses on the advancement of the main industry, especially the wood industry.

Binh Dinh is one of Vietnam’s major wood processing centers, with 130 wood processing and export enterprises, with an annual export turnover of less than $1 billion. Many wood enterprises play a significant role in the industrial value and export value of the province, such as Phu Tai, Tien Dat, Dai Thanh, Hoang Hung, Duc Hai, Duc Toan, Nghia Tin, Phu Tai Bio-Energy, Gia Han…

These wood enterprises attract major global buyers in markets such as the United States, the EU, the UK, and Australia, such as Ashley, Masterbrand Cabinet, Noble House, Walmart, Target, HomeDepot, Kingfisher, JP, OBI…

“We hope that the wood industry can become a strong driving force, contributing to the prosperity of the province and the country. We are committed to accompanying and supporting wood enterprises in the province, including focusing on enhancing production capacity, developing supporting industries, and especially investing heavily in forest raw materials, creating favorable conditions for the sustainable development of the industry,” emphasized Mr. Hoang.

Within the framework of Q-FAIR 2024, there will be 4 specialized seminars on the wood industry.

The first seminar: “FSC COC Certification, essential for wood industry enterprises,” on the afternoon of March 10th, 2024, organized by KNA Certification Company Ltd.
