Yen Leng Port North – Officially Commences Operations

The Yen Lệnh Bắc Hà Nam inland port officially commenced operations on January 25, 2024, under the management of Thành Đạt Investment Development Joint Stock Company (DTD).

This is a strategic project of DTD company and it took a lot of time to complete. Once operational, Yen Lenh Bac port would bring stable profits and continuous growth for the company for at least 50 years.

Yen Lenh Bac port is built in Moc Nam commune, Chuyen Ngoai commune – Duy Tien – Ha Nam with convenient location both in terms of waterway transportation (located on the Hong River, part of waterway corridor 3 – Grade-1 corridor) and road (nearby QL38 and QL39, Cau Gie – Ninh Binh expressway, national highway 1A…). The port has very favorable conditions for transport exploitation. This area borders Hà Nam and Hưng Yên provinces, which have many developed industrial zones, therefore, it is expected to attract a lot of goods and cargo.

The total investment of the project is 468,424,000,000 VND, with a port area of ​​up to 296,575m2. The goal by 2030 is to achieve a cargo transportation capacity of 2.68 million tons per year by waterway in the province and the Northern region.

When the project is put into operation, it is expected to create hundreds of new jobs for local people and contribute billions of VND to the budget.

In addition to transportation along corridor 3, Yen Lenh Bac port can also receive and ship goods along corridor 2 – Quang Ninh – Hai Phong – Ninh Binh, which is a Grade-2 inland waterway route.

The fleet passing through Yen Lenh Bac port can efficiently exploit a convoy of up to 4×600 tons and inland waterway vehicles with a load capacity of 1000 tons, container barges with a carrying capacity of up to 84TEU, and draft water not exceeding 5m.
