On February 28, according to Tien Phong reporters, just two months after receiving the transfer of nearly 19 hectares of land in Binh Duong, CapitaLand Group (Singapore) started construction of a residential area.

Previously, at the end of 2023, the People’s Committee of Binh Duong province approved Becamex IDC Corporation (a state-invested enterprise) to transfer land near the provincial administrative center to CapitaLand Group at a price of over VND 5,000 billion.

Becamex IDC Corporation has received a deposit from CapitaLand Group in 2021 and has now received the full payment for the project.

After receiving the land transfer, CapitaLand Group plans to invest VND 18,330 billion to build houses.

Nearly 19 hectares of land will be divided into multiple areas with about 3,700 apartments. It is expected to provide accommodation for about 12,500 people.

The land is located in a prime location, near the Binh Duong provincial administrative center, also known as the New Binh Duong City.

The land is adjacent to Vo Van Kiet street.

The land is located at the junction of Vo Van Kiet and Hung Vuong streets.

The land has been vacant for many years.
