Hiring nearly 500 railway operation staff for Nhon-Hanoi Station in July

Hanoi Metro Company has announced that it is currently undertaking various tasks to put the Nhon - Hanoi Urban Railway (elevated section) into operation by July, 2024. In preparation for this plan, Hanoi Metro is recruiting a total of 447 personnel.

Hanoi Metro has announced that it is recruiting personnel to work on the urban railway line Nhon – Ha Noi Station, which is scheduled to operate in July 2024. This is part of the effort to reduce traffic congestion in the capital city. The company is looking to hire staff for both the Nhon – Ha Noi urban railway line and the Cat Linh – Ha Dong Line 2A.

Among the personnel needed, Hanoi Metro is recruiting 158 people for station operations, 48 people for control and operation, 12 people for technology and engineering, and 9 people for safety monitoring.

The urban railway line Nhon – Ha Noi is planned to begin operation in July 2024.

According to Hanoi Metro leadership, starting from March, the current staff at the company will begin testing the trains, and by July, they will officially carry passengers.

The Nhon – Ha Noi Metro Project (Line 3) is 12.5 km long, with 8 elevated stations and 4 underground stations. The elevated section (Nhon – Cau Giay) of 8.5 km will be put into operation in July 2024, while the underground section (Cau Giay – Ha Noi Station) of 4 km is planned to be completed in 2027.
