On March 1st, the “Strategic Partner Meeting” program was held solemnly at The West building – 265 Cau Giay. This is the first public introduction event after Gateway Hanoi became the new owner of this building.
The West is an office, commercial, and service building introduced to the market in 2021. By October 2022, Gateway Hanoi completed the acquisition of the building. By the end of May 2023, Gateway Hanoi renamed the project to The West, undertaking the process of repositioning the brand, improving services, functionality, and infrastructure.
The building has 38 floors, including office space for rent and a commercial center. The rental area of the building is about 25,000 m2 with the office block and 15,000 m2 with the retail block, serving the diverse needs of customers in work, business, and entertainment.
The highlight of this office building for rent is that the main lobby areas, elevator interiors, and pantry rooms of the building have all been renovated and upgraded comprehensively. Along with modern design, premium equipment, green technology, and 24/7 intelligent security systems. In addition, The West also provides other amenities such as dining areas, fitness centers, spas, supermarkets, or cinemas.
According to information from the Leasing Department Head of Gateway Hanoi: “Through brand repositioning strategy and meeting with key partners, Gateway Hanoi aims to increase competitive advantage for The West office building, enhance customer experience, and continue to attract more domestic and international businesses.”
In 2023, new tenants of the office building include branches of OCB Bank, Café Révi, MPT Fitness… and in the future, the company will expand the long-term customer portfolio;
Previously, to cover FLC’s debts, the group transferred the ownership of the 265 Cau Giay building to OCB Bank since 2020.
By the end of June 2022, FLC issued a resolution approving FLC and FLCHomes’ repurchase of the 265 Cau Giay building from OCB. Afterwards, FLC and FLCHomes decided to sell this building to Gateway Hanoi for 2,000 billion VND (including VAT and excluding the value of the sold area).
