On February 28, the Tax Department of Quang Binh Province announced the public list of taxpayers who still owe taxes and other charges to the State Budget. The reason for the Tax Department’s disclosure of the list is that taxpayers have violated the provisions of point a clause 1 of Article 100 of Law on Tax Administration No. 38/2019/QH14 dated June 13, 2019, and point g clause 1 of Article 29 of Decree No. 126/2020/NĐ-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government.
According to this list, there are 42 units that owe taxes and other charges to the State Budget as of January 31, 2024, with an amount of nearly 770 billion VND.
Among them, 10 companies that top the list of tax debt are FLC Group Joint Stock Company, located at 29th floor, Bamboo Airways Building, 265 Cau Giay Street, Dich Vong Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi, with a debt of nearly 278 billion VND.
Linh Thanh Quang Binh High-Quality Stone Powder Production and Exploitation Joint Stock Company, located at 7th floor, 45 Tran Hung Dao, Hamlet 5, Dong Phu Ward, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province, with a debt of over 134.6 billion VND. Cosevco 1 Construction Material and Building Production Joint Stock Company, located at 334 Quang Trung Street, Ba Don Ward, Ba Don Town, Quang Binh Province, with a debt of over 76.2 billion VND. Son Hai Riversude Limited Liability Company, located at 117 Huu Nghi Street, Nam Ly Ward, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province, with a debt of over 53.7 billion VND.
Hung Phat Manufacturing – Trading Limited Liability Company, located at 73 Le Loi, Dong Hai Ward, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province, with a debt of over 31.6 billion VND. Viet Groupcentral Joint Stock Company, located at 18 Quach Xuan Ky, Dong Hai Ward, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province, with a debt of over 21.7 billion VND.
Quang Binh Shipbuilding Industry Industrial Limited Liability Company, located at Small Area 5, Quan Hai Town, Quang Ninh District, Quang Binh Province, with a debt of over 37.1 billion VND. Cosevco 6 Joint Stock Company, located at Ang Son Hamlet, Van Ninh Commune, Quang Ninh District, Quang Binh Province, with a debt of over 17.1 billion VND.
Dai Phuc Quang Binh Construction Joint Stock Company, located at Len Hung Stone Mine, Ba Tam Hamlet, Thuan Hoa Commune, Tuyen Hoa District, Quang Binh Province, with a debt of over 17.1 billion VND. Truong Son Corporation Joint Stock Company, located at 251A Quang Trung Street, Phu Hai Ward, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province, with a debt of over 14.1 billion VND.
According to the Tax Department of Quang Binh Province, to handle and recover overdue taxes, the units have implemented many measures such as issuing monthly notifications of unpaid debts and late tax payments to each business and individual tax debtor; coordinating with the Provincial Treasury to implement direct deduction from the tax debts of basic construction units funded by the budget; implementing the collection of overdue taxes through tax refund work. However, the work of handling and recovering tax debts from regular and difficult businesses still faces many difficulties.
