Specifically, the area of Van Ninh District is expected to reach 56,202ha by 2030, of which agricultural land accounts for 42,052ha (74.82%); non-agricultural land accounts for 14,051ha (25%); and unused land accounts for 99ha (0.18%).
To achieve the target, the district will convert nearly 7,027ha of agricultural land into non-agricultural land. In addition, a total of over 5,377ha of unused land will be put into use, including 2,689ha of agricultural land and 2,688ha of non-agricultural land.
Regarding non-agricultural land, the district will convert 104.05ha of non-residential land into residential land.
Furthermore, the land structure of Van Ninh District in 2024 will comprise 42,555ha of agricultural land, 9,612.4ha of non-agricultural land, and 4,034.5ha of unused land.
In order to achieve this goal, the district will convert 3,389.4ha of agricultural land and 1,440.7ha of unused land into non-agricultural land. At the same time, it will convert 63.46ha of non-agricultural land that is not designated for residential purposes into residential land.
In addition to conversion, Van Ninh District plans to revoke nearly 3,099ha of agricultural land and nearly 432ha of non-agricultural land in 2024.
The People’s Council of Van Ninh District has assigned the People’s Committee of the district to submit the adjusted planning to the competent authorities for consideration and approval; publicly announce the planning according to regulations; strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of the planning; and deal resolutely with violations.
Furthermore, the People’s Committee of the district must implement the approved land use planning and plans accurately; effectively organize implementation of the planning by enhancing investment in database, and completing the land information system.
