According to the reporter’s survey, at the beginning of March 2024, the B-segment SUV model – Nissan Kicks is enjoying many big incentives from the company and dealers.
Specifically, Nissan Vietnam applies a 100% first registration tax incentive for the premium V version of the Nissan Kicks e-Power with a listed price of 858 million VND. Therefore, customers buying cars at this time can save up to 86 million VND.
Moreover, dealers also apply cash rebate programs for this B-segment SUV model with discounts ranging from 180 – 190 million VND. In addition, dealers also provide customers with many attractive gifts such as window films, floor mats, steering wheel covers…
It is known that this incentive applies to the 2023 production year Nissan Kicks e-Power (VIN number 2023). Meanwhile, cars with VIN number 2024 have not arrived at the dealers yet. At the same time, dealers also said that the Nissan Kicks only has the V version left, while the E version is out of stock.
After applying the promotion programs, the selling price of the Nissan Kicks e-Power is only about 658 million VND, significantly lower than the premium version of other competitors in the same segment such as Hyundai Creta (699 million VND), Kia Seltos (714 million VND), Mitsubishi Xforce (680 million VND) or Toyota Yaris Cross (750 million VND).
Introduced to the Vietnamese market at the end of 2022, Nissan Kicks e-Power is a quite special model thanks to its hybrid powertrain. Specifically, the car uses e-Power transmission technology, including electric motor, lithium-ion battery, inverter, gasoline engine and generator.
The electric motor of the Nissan Kicks e-Power generates a maximum power of 136 horsepower and a maximum torque of 280 Nm. The gasoline engine is a 3-cylinder, DOHC, 12-valve, 1.2L capacity engine, producing a maximum power of 82 horsepower and a maximum torque of 103 Nm.
It is worth noting that the gasoline engine in the car does not play a role in the transmission but acts as a power generator to charge the battery. The power transmission task belongs to the electric motor, helping the Nissan Kicks e-Power operate like an electric car but without the need for charging and extremely fuel-efficient. The fuel consumption in urban areas of this B-segment SUV is only at 2.2 liters per 100 km.
The car is equipped with many modern features such as LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, power-electric/foldable/turn signal-integrated mirrors, zero-gravity seats, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay support and 2 USB ports…
