Many Hyundai dealerships in Vietnam are now accepting reservations for the Stargazer X with an expected delivery time in March. The car is imported from Indonesia. The price has not been disclosed, but it is definitely higher than the current versions with a suggested price of 575-685 million VND.
This information comes from dealerships, while Hyundai Thanh Cong stated that they do not have specific plans for this product yet.

Hyundai Stargazer X is the “SUV version” of the Stargazer, competing with the Suzuki XL7, Toyota Veloz Cross, Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, Kia Carens, and Honda BR-V. However, while the Suzuki XL7 has a completely different design from the Ertiga, and the Toyota Veloz Cross is different from the Avanza Premio, Hyundai’s approach is similar to the pair of Mitsubishi Xpander/Xpander Cross, as the Stargazer X is not much different from the Stargazer.
Specifically, the Stargazer X still maintains the design of the original version, only adding some SUV-specific details, including a wider front grille and lower black plastic trim. The rear of the car features a larger size dark rear bumper combined with a silver accent panel for added emphasis. The roof of the car has a larger sunroof and roof rack compared to the standard Stargazer.
Exclusive 17-inch wheels with a flower pattern, accompanied by 205/55 Goodyear tires. The Stargazer versions only use 16-inch wheels. Therefore, the ground clearance of the Stargazer X is 15mm higher, reaching 200 mm.
The interior of the Hyundai Stargazer X is also not much different. The seats have red stitching and unique patterns on the backrests. The top-end version in Indonesia adds a Bose speaker system. The top edge of the dashboard has been lowered, providing a less obstructed view. Other than that, the entire equipment and interior design are the same as the Stargazer.
Similarly to the Stargazer, the X version still uses a 1.5L naturally-aspirated engine, delivering 113 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque. The drivetrain is a front-wheel-drive with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The car has 4 driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, and Smart.
It is highly likely that the car will come to Vietnam with Hyundai SmartSense, an advanced safety and driving assistance package, which includes pedestrian collision avoidance assist, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear collision avoidance assist, smart cruise control, and lane keeping assist. These are all features that are already available on the premium Stargazer version currently sold in Vietnam.
