Hyundai Motor India Limited has officially introduced the new Executive variant of the small SUV model Hyundai Venue. According to the company’s announcement, this variant will be positioned between the S and S(O) trims, and the car will have a price tag of 9.99 lakh Rs (approximately 297 million dong).
The 2024 Hyundai Venue Executive variant only uses the turbocharged Kappa T-GDI gasoline engine with a 1.0L displacement. It generates a maximum power of 118 horsepower and a peak torque of 172 Nm. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
In terms of exterior, the Executive Turbo variant is equipped with 16-inch wheels with a two-tone design, dark chrome front grille, roof rails, and shark fin antenna. The ‘Executive’ emblem is placed on the rear door.
The interior of the car features notable equipment such as a digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch center touch screen, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity, 2-step reclining and 60:40 split-folding rear seats, rear air vents, etc.
In terms of safety features, the Hyundai Venue Executive Turbo variant is equipped with 6 airbags, 3-point seat belts with reminders for all seats, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), automatic headlights, and tire pressure monitoring system.
Additionally, Hyundai has added convenient features to the Venue S(O) Turbo variant such as a power sunroof and reading lamps.
In the Vietnamese market, Hyundai is officially distributed with 2 variants and a turbocharged 1.0L gasoline engine with prices ranging from 539 to 579 million dong. At the end of the first month of 2024, while Toyota Raiz and Kia Sonnet both saw a decrease in sales, Venue was the only model that recorded a sales growth. Specifically, Venue delivered 196 units to consumers in January 2024, an increase of 8.1% compared to December 2023. This growth was achieved thanks to the newly launched Venue variant since mid-December 2023, which initially had relatively low sales figures.
