Volkswagen Teramont X

The Volkswagen Teramont X 2024 model has been brought to the dealership and available for pre-order since the beginning of the year, but it had to wait until March to make its debut in the Vietnamese market. The car is imported from China with one version and is expected to be priced at 2,168 billion VND, according to sales consultants.

Compared to the traditional Teramont, the Teramont X is a sportier version with a new design featuring a coupe-style rear window and only has 5 seats. The car is equipped with a 2.0L TSI turbocharged engine, producing 220 horsepower, maximum torque of 350 Nm, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and a 4-wheel drive system.

Ford Ranger Stormtrak

After being confirmed by Ford to be brought to Vietnam, the Ranger Stormtrak is also announced by many sales consultants to be launched in March. The car is positioned as a premium version between the Wildtrak and the Raptor. The expected price of the car is from 1,059 billion VND.

Compared to the Wildtrak version, the design of the Ranger Stormtrak doesn’t change much, except for some details that have been restyled to be more sporty and personalized. The car is still equipped with a 2.0L bi-turbo diesel engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission, producing 207 horsepower and maximum torque of 500 Nm.

Hyundai Stargazer X

After more than 1 year of being sold in the Vietnamese market, Hyundai’s Stargazer MPV is about to have a raised ground clearance version called X. Some dealerships have already accepted reservations and stated that the car will be delivered in March. The car is imported from Indonesia and comes in two versions: Special and Premium, with prices ranging from 695 to 750 million VND.

Compared to the standard version, the Stargazer X is supplemented with some SUV-style features such as a wider front grille, embossed hood, 17-inch alloy wheels, front and rear skid plates, while the roof of the car has a roof rack and a larger spoiler.

The engine of the Stargazer X remains the same with a naturally aspirated 1.5L gasoline engine, producing 113 horsepower and torque of 144 Nm. The car is front-wheel drive with a CVT automatic transmission.

Volvo S90 Recharge Ultimate

The first information about the Volvo S90 Recharge Ultimate has been revealed when the Vietnam Register announced the fuel consumption of this plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version. According to that, this car has a fuel consumption of only 1.4 liters/100km and an energy consumption of 166 kW/km.

Sales consultants predict that the expected price of the Volvo S90 Recharge Ultimate will be around 2.89 billion VND. This figure is 570 million VND higher than the price of the currently available S90 mild-hybrid version in Vietnam.

The Volvo S90 Recharge Ultimate is powered by a Plug-in hybrid drivetrain with a 2.0L gasoline engine and an electric motor, for a total output of about 462 horsepower and maximum torque of 709 Nm. The car’s battery is a Lithium-ion type with a capacity of 18.8 kW, and it’s revealed that it only takes 5 hours to fully charge using household electricity.
