The People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc Province has just issued the conclusion of Mr. Le Duy Thanh, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc Province, at the regular meeting in February.
Regarding investment attraction, Chairman Le Duy Thanh affirmed that the province’s investment attraction showed positive signs. By February 15, the whole province attracted 9 FDI projects with a total capital of VND 1,530 billion; granted licenses to 17 FDI projects, including 7 new projects and 10 projects with capital adjustment, with a total registered capital of USD 123.94 million, reaching nearly 31% of the annual plan. It is expected that in the first quarter, the province will achieve and exceed the annual investment attraction target for 2024.
Chairman Le Duy Thanh also informed that the Prime Minister has issued a Decision to establish the Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support Center under the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc Province.

Directing the implementation of some key tasks in the coming period, Chairman of Vinh Phuc Province requested all levels and sectors to focus on implementing the resolutions of the National Assembly, the Government, and the Provincial People’s Council on economic and social development in 2024. Along with that, prepare well the contents to serve the working program of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the sessions of the Provincial People’s Council in 2024; promote the implementation of key projects, effectively implement land clearance, disbursement of public investment capital, remove difficulties for production and business activities.
Mr. Thanh requested officials, Party members, civil servants, and officers to strictly observe the provisions on what Party members are not allowed to do, well implement the sense of duty and directives of the Government, the Provincial Party Committee, the People’s Committee of the province on the implementation of post-Tet tasks.
At the meeting, the Provincial People’s Committee also commented on the implementation of Resolution No. 11 of the Government on the Program for Economic Recovery and Development; the plan to organize activities commemorating 70 years of the Dien Bien Phu victory, 49 years of the complete liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, and 124th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh; the plan to implement the development of tourism in Vĩnh Phúc Province in the coming time; report on the implementation of policies and laws on traffic safety order from 2009 to the end of 2023 and some other important contents.
Mr. Le Duy Thanh agreed with the report of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment on the results of land clearance and handling of existing violations and violations related to land. Any locality that is not serious in handling legal violations related to land will be held responsible.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Construction, and the Inspectorate of Vinh Phuc Province were assigned to grasp the situation of land violations, construction order in localities to rectify, make recommendations to competent agencies for handling or propose the People’s Committee of the province to direct the handling.
