Hyundai Creta receives discount from dealers

On March 4, 2024, the Hyundai Creta adjusted its listed price, reducing it by 40-41 million dong. This is the first time that this model has adjusted its listed price. However, it seems that the current reduction is not attractive enough, so some dealers have added their own discount programs for this B-segment SUV model.

Version New listed price Dealer price Difference
Standard Creta 599 million dong 579 million dong 20 million dong
Special Creta 650 million dong 629 million dong 21 million dong
Premium Creta 699 million dong 678 million dong 21 million dong

A dealership in Hanoi has implemented a cash discount policy ranging from 20-21 million dong for Hyundai Creta versions. Accordingly, the price of the Standard version has been reduced to 579 million, the Special version to 629 million, and the Premium version to 678 million dong.

Hyundai Creta receives additional discount at the dealership.

Looking at other dealers, the discount for Hyundai Creta varies. For example, in Hanoi, another dealership announced a discount of only 10-11 million dong for this B-segment SUV. Another dealer does not offer a discount, but only gives accessories.

Position of Hyundai Creta in the segment

With the discount from dealerships, Hyundai Creta has become the lowest-priced model in the segment, ranked just below the Mitsubishi Xforce (listed price 599 million dong).

Mitsubishi Xforce also recently had its selling price adjusted.

After the price reduction, the selling price of Creta is more competitive than many other competitors, such as Seltos (609-719 million dong) or HR-V (699-871 million dong).

In the past 2 months, Honda HR-V and Kia Seltos have been leading the segment, surpassing Creta. Previously, Hyundai’s B-segment SUV was consistently the top-selling model in the segment. The price reduction will provide a great opportunity for Creta to regain its position.

In January 2024, Hyundai Creta sales ranked 3rd in the segment.
