According to the investor, Thang Long boat has 3 main engines, nearly 12,000 horsepower, and a maximum speed of 35 nautical miles/hour. With this speed, the travel time from Con Dao to Vung Tau and vice versa is just over 3 hours.

With a special design specifically for Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao route, the boat can operate in harsh weather conditions such as gusty winds up to level 8 while still maintaining high stability and minimizing vertical oscillation.

It is known that tomorrow (March 9th), the boat will have its inaugural journey from Vung Tau to Con Dao, and it has already been fully booked by tourists.

Every week, the boat departs from Cau Da Port (Vung Tau City) at 7:30 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On the way back, the boat departs at 1:00 PM at Con Dao Passenger Port on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

The economy class ticket price ranges from 790,000 to 950,000 VND/one-way; about 1.1 million VND for high-quality service tickets. Tickets for children, people with disabilities, and seniors range from 550,000 to 760,000 VND/one-way. The price does not include the usage fee at Con Dao Passenger Port for passengers.

The investor organized a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the first journey of the Thang Long boat.
