“The fact that the world’s most famous tech billionaire chose Da Nang as a resort rather than for work or philanthropy is a confirmation of the city’s beautiful image. The city is an ideal tourist destination for the high-end segment,” said Ms. An.
According to Ms. An, this is also evidence that Da Nang is heading in the right direction to establish itself as a high-quality tourism city, attracting various segments, especially the high-end segment. In fact, Da Nang has been implementing many activities related to this segment, with a focus on attracting weddings from wealthy people from different countries.
Regarding Son Tra Peninsula – where billionaire Bill Gates chose to stay and visit – Ms. Hoai An shared that Da Nang has always promoted it as the green lung of the city with many attractions such as Linh Ung Pagoda, Ban Co Mountain, ancient banyan tree, etc. These activities and events are all integrated into publications and films to introduce to tourists and partners.
