According to Detik Oto, Great Wall Motors (GWM) Indonesia has officially launched the Tank 500 HEV SUV in the market. The model is expected to be a favorite choice for those who love luxury combined with exceptional performance on all terrains.
GWM Tank 500 HEV comes in various interior colors such as Sun Black, COC Grey, Hamilton White. The price of the GWM 500 HEV is 1,196 rupiah Indonesia (equivalent to 1.74 billion Vietnamese dong).
The Chinese SUV model is said to be a competitor to the Land Cruiser Prado, but the impressive selling price is less than half of the Japanese car. Specifically, in Indonesia, the price of the Land Cruiser ranges from 2.52 to 2.58 billion rupiah Indonesia (equivalent to 3.99 to 4.08 billion VND).
According to the manufacturer, the GWM Tank 500 HEV is a luxury off-road SUV designed to handle different road conditions in Indonesia, providing superior performance, intelligent technology, and maximum comfort.
This vehicle measures 4,928 x 1,934 x 1,905 mm in size and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. The vehicle can accommodate 7 people (including the driver).
In terms of power, the GWM Tank 500 HEV is equipped with a 2.0L turbo engine combined with hybrid technology. This system generates a total output of 241 horsepower and a torque of 380 Nm.
The off-road SUV from China is equipped with an advanced suspension system with a double cross arm in the front and independent multi-link in the rear, supporting front-wheel drive.
In terms of interior, the seats of the Tank 500 HEV are fully covered in leather. The car features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch touch screen, and a microfiber-wrapped steering wheel.
The car’s safety features are quite extensive, including ABS, EBD, ESC, traction control system, auto-rolling stop, electronic parking brake, tire pressure monitoring system.
In addition, the GWM Tank 500 also features parking sensors, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, emergency lane keeping assistance, driver fatigue monitoring system, front collision warning, front collision avoidance braking, rear collision warning, automatic emergency braking, congestion assist, and adaptive cruise control.
In an interview earlier this year, Haval Vietnam’s leaders confirmed that the company will introduce 2 new models this year, including Tank 300 and Jolion. In which, the information about Tank 300 coming to Vietnam was first announced. In Thailand, GWM Tank 300 has 2 versions: Pro and Ultra, with prices of 1.649 million baht and 1.799 million baht, equivalent to 1.116-1.218 billion VND.
With the confirmation of bringing the Tank brand to Vietnam, in the future, the GWM Tank 500 model may be brought to Vietnam to meet the Vietnamese customers.
