According to Vicofa’s forecast, the domestic coffee consumption market in Vietnam in 2024 is expected to increase. Specifically, the domestic coffee consumption market is estimated to reach about 150,000 tons of roasted and processed coffee.
The total volume of coffee beans consumed domestically is expected to increase to 350,000 – 400,000 tons per year. In 2024, the estimated instant coffee production is 100,000 tons, equivalent to 230,000 tons of coffee beans, and is expected to increase in the future due to many investment projects and factory expansions. The forecast for coffee exports in the 2023/2024 season is expected to reach $4.5 – 5 billion thanks to the continued increase in coffee prices despite a decrease in production.
