VW Teramont X officially debuted in the Vietnamese market today (March 14). Different from the previous announcement by the dealer, Terramont X has 2 versions: Luxury and Platinum. The starting price of the car is from 1.998 billion VND.

2 Teramont X versions: Platinum (red) and Luxury (gray) are distributed in Vietnam.
With this price, Teramont X is slightly lower than its competitor, Explorer. Ford Explorer currently has a listed price of 1.999 billion VND.
Rare 5-seat configuration in the segment
Compared to rivals such as Explorer and Palisade, only Teramont has a 5-seat variant, Teramont X.
The size of Teramont X is also 180mm shorter than Teramont. The overall dimensions of the car are 4,917 x 1,989 x 1,781 mm. Wheelbase is 2,980 mm.
2 exterior packages
Basically, Teramont X is a coupe version of Teramont. The newly launched Teramont X model has many differences from the Teramont being sold on the market because this is a new upgrade version. If the new Teramont model comes to Vietnam in the near future, these 2 models will have similar designs.
The imported Teramont X version comes with 2 exterior packages. The Platinum version is equipped with the R-Line sports package with many details painted in glossy black, such as grille, mirror cover, wheels, window frames… The Luxury version uses many bright chrome details. The car’s logo is illuminated.

Some notable exterior equipment also includes a 2-layer matrix LED headlights (IQ Light), 3D-designed LED taillights, and 19-inch black painted wheels on the Platinum version, two-tone paint on the Luxury version.
Modern convenient equipment
Inside Teramont X, it is designed with minimal buttons. The prominent convenience features on the Platinum version include a 10.3-inch screen behind the steering wheel and a 12-inch center screen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system (700 watts, including 1 sub), electronic parking brake, wireless charging, 3-zone automatic air conditioning, and panoramic sunroof…
The seats are covered in two-tone leather. The front seats have 8-way power adjustment, memory for 3 positions, and integrated heating. The trunk has a hands-free electric opening.
Same drivetrain as Teramont
Teramont X actually uses the same chassis system and engine, transmission as Teramont. This model is equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged engine, producing 220 horsepower, 350 Nm of torque, coupled with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and 4-wheel drive system.
Many advanced safety technologies
With the trend of integrating many technologies into cars today, Teramont X is also equipped with many ADAS features such as early collision warning, automatic braking assistance, lane change assistance, adaptive cruise control, intelligent lighting.
Some other notable technologies also include a 360-degree camera and automatic parking assist feature.
