Audi Q5 Introduces New Edition
Since the facelift upgrade in May 2021, the Audi Q5 now sees its first change. This model will have a new limited edition called “Mysterious Black”. It is expected that this Audi Q5 edition will be available in Vietnam in June 2024.
Competitive Pricing Compared to Rivals
The new limited edition of the Audi Q5 is priced at 2,299 billion VND. Dealerships are currently accepting deposits.
Compared to the highest-end versions of the Mercedes-Benz GLC and BMW X3, the pricing of this new Audi Q5 45 TFSI edition is more “affordable”. The GLC is currently the most expensive in its segment. The highest-end GLC 300 is priced at approximately 2.8 billion VND. The price of the BMW X3 xDrive 30i M Sport is 2,345 billion VND at the moment.

The GLC and X3 highest-end versions are more expensive than the Q5.
Limited Upgrades
Despite not having many changes after almost 3 years, the Audi Q5 does have some new points in terms of appearance. According to Audi’s announcement, this limited Q5 edition has some new elements such as the grille, window frame, roof rack, and black Audi logo.
One notable detail is the new double-spoke 19-inch wheels, paired with 235/55R19 tires. The standard Q5 currently on the market uses 18-inch wheels, while the S Line edition has 19-inch wheels.
The “Mysterious Black” Audi Q5 coming to Vietnam will have few changes other than dark-colored details.
The current Q5 S Line model available on the market has a design that is not much different from the upcoming “Mysterious Black” edition, except for the bright-colored details.
Audi has not provided any additional information about the equipment of the “Mysterious Black” Q5 edition other than the changes in appearance. It is highly likely that the other equipment of the new Q5 edition will be the same as the currently available model.
If it is similar to the previous highest-end S Line edition, this new Q5 edition will have many modern amenities to compete with the GLC and X3, such as matrix LED headlights, full-size virtual cockpit behind the steering wheel, 10.1-inch center display, HUD, Bang & Olufsen 3D 19-speaker sound system, electronic transmission, electronic parking brake, tri-zone air conditioning, etc.
Referencing the interior of the Q5 S Line version in Vietnam, it offers many modern amenities.
The engine of the “Mysterious Black” Q5 edition with the codename 45 TFSI is still the 2.0L mild-hybrid type, with a capacity of 245 horsepower, combined with a 7-speed transmission and 4-wheel drive. The company claims this edition can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.
