The master plan for the overall adjustment of the new urban area of Nhơn Trạch (Đồng Nai) until 2045 is currently being completed and is expected to be submitted to the Prime Minister for approval by the end of 2024.

The center of Nhơn Trạch has developed many transportation routes

The new urban area of Nhơn Trạch is located in the central hub of TPHCM, Đồng Nai, and Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu. Located at the gateway to the southeast of the largest urban area in the country, TPHCM, the new urban area of Nhơn Trạch has a strategic position as a gateway connecting international and key economic regions.

In particular, in the near future, the new urban area of Nhơn Trạch will have the advantage of being close to the Long Thành International Airport. Along with that, a series of transportation infrastructure projects connecting the region are being and will be implemented, such as the third ring road of TPHCM; the Ben Luc – Long Thanh expressway; Phu My 2 bridge… will create a stronger connection between Nhơn Trạch and TPHCM. From there, it promotes the development process of the new urban area of Nhơn Trạch.

Therefore, Nhơn Trạch is expected to play an important role in supporting the rapidly increasing population of TPHCM, reducing the pressure from other growth-related issues such as housing supply, transportation, and employment opportunities.

With great potential and advantages, for over 20 years, Nhơn Trạch has been planned by Đồng Nai province to become a new

city

. A series of urban projects have been implemented.

However, after many years, Nhơn Trạch still cannot develop into a “city”. Present in this promising locality are still deserted urban areas,
