The People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province has issued a document assigning departments and relevant units to inspect and review all projects and works of Phuc Son Group and its subsidiaries.
The province’s authorities have requested the departments and relevant units to work with Phuc Son Group to inspect and review the projects and works that the company is investing in or implementing in the province.
This move is made to determine the progress and difficulties of Phuc Son Group’s projects and construction sites. The provincial authorities have requested the units to carry out the inspection and report the results before March 30, 2024.

In late February, the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province directed departments and provincial units, as well as the provincial Tax Department and Inspectorate, to provide all related documents and records regarding the approval of investment proposals, selection of investors, investment implementation, and construction by Phuc Son Group, as well as other related issues.
The Ministry of Public Security’s Economic Police Department has requested Khanh Hoa province to provide the above information to facilitate its investigation.
Previously, in February, Mr. Nguyen Van Hau, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phuc Son Group, and many of his subordinates were arrested and detained by the Ministry of Public Security’s Investigation Police Department for investigation into serious accounting violations.

As reported by VietNamNet, in Khanh Hoa, Phuc Son Group is involved in various troubles related to the urban, commercial, service, finance, and tourism center project in Nha Trang (former Nha Trang airport). Although the land has been granted, only the infrastructure has been completed. Inside, the situation remains messy, with overgrown grass. The company has been asked by Khanh Hoa province to contribute over 11,000 billion VND to the state budget, but it has not fulfilled its financial obligations.
Phuc Son Group is also responsible for three transport projects under the build-transfer model assigned by Khanh Hoa province. These projects have been implemented for many years but are still not completed.
The company is also the investor of two urban projects, namely Phuc Khanh 1 and Phuc Khanh 2 in Nha Trang City and Dien Khanh District. After nearly 10 years, compensation and site clearance work for these two projects are still unfinished.
