On March 15th, the Pho Festival 2024 with the theme “Vietnamese Pho Journey” was officially launched in Nam Dinh City, Nam Dinh Province. The event was directed by the People’s Committee of Nam Dinh Province and organized by Masan Consumer, along with the sponsorship of the Vietnamese Fish Sauce Association, CHIN-SU brand, Pho Story, Bluezone Pure Water, and Pho xua Nam Dinh.
Pho Festival 2024 is an event that aims to promote the culinary culture of pho and provide an opportunity for visitors and locals to explore and savor the taste of pho, which is closely associated with the culinary culture of different regions across the country. It also contributes to promoting pho internationally as a culinary delicacy.
During the opening ceremony, artist Le Thi Thiet – Chairman of the Culinary Culture Association of Nam Dinh Province stated that Pho Festival 2024 will feature the participation of 100 artists, experts, chefs from the Royal Chefs Association, the Vietnam Chefs Association, VCCA Artisan Council, Vietnamese Young Chefs Association, VCCA Advisory Board, Van Cu Pho Association, and old-fashioned Pho Association of Nam Dinh.
On the first day of the festival, Pho Festival attracted a large number of visitors who came to explore the stalls and enjoy pho. The festival gathered 50 booths from businesses and brands across the country, divided into 3 areas: Pho stalls from all regions, ingredients stalls, and standard stalls.
The CHIN-SU booth was invested with an extremely impressive space featuring a giant unique bottle of chili sauce and fish sauce. With many years of being associated with every Vietnamese family’s kitchen, CHIN-SU has become a familiar name associated with millions of delicious meals.

Visitors to Pho Festival 2024 will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious pho from famous pho stalls such as Pho Thin Bo Ho, Van Cu Pho, and ancient woven Pho.

Furthermore, Pho Festival 2024 also features booths with creative pho dishes such as corn pho from Ha Giang, cassava pho from Que Son, artichoke pho from Da Lat, green banana flour pho, vegetarian and nutritious pho, and S Goryeo pho.

In addition, there are booths displaying various spices, vinegar, fish sauce, and local specialties from Nam Dinh such as sesame candies.

The activities during the festival aim to make pho a national brand closely associated with tourism development both domestically and internationally. Through the festival, the organizing committee hopes to create a profile to turn Vietnam’s pho profession into a national and world intangible cultural heritage.
