V-GREEN Global Charging Station Development Company (abbreviated as V-GREEN) is separated from the charging station development department of VinFast and will operate independently as a partner to develop the charging station network for VinFast on a global scale.

V-GREEN CEO Nguyen Duc Thanh said that the establishment of the company is a strategic move by VinFast’s founder in supporting and strongly promoting VinFast’s sustainable and stable global development.

In particular, Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong is ready to use personal assets to establish V-GREEN in order to reduce the investment burden on infrastructure for VinFast and provide maximum support for the company’s determination to promote green transportation in Vietnam and the world.

In the initial phase, V-GREEN will directly search for locations and partners to establish and expand the charging station network in key markets around the world, while cooperating with third-party charging station providers to provide charging services for VinFast electric vehicle owners.

In Vietnam, the company will be responsible for operating and managing VinFast’s existing charging station system, while investing an additional VND 10 trillion within the next 2 years to build new and upgraded facilities.

With an investment in infrastructure three times higher than VinFast’s initial plan, V-GREEN aims to cover charging stations nationwide and make Vietnam one of the world’s leading countries in developing electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

After about 5 years of operation, depending on each market and practical mobilization capabilities, V-GREEN may consider transitioning to a business model that provides charging services for electric vehicles from brands other than VinFast.

According to the plan, in 2024, VinFast will expand its production and business activities to at least 50 countries worldwide. In addition to key markets such as the United States, Canada, and Europe, the automaker is also entering neighboring countries in the region such as India, Indonesia, the Middle East, and Africa.

In addition to Vietnam, VinFast is also planning to build electric vehicle manufacturing plants in the United States, India, and Indonesia.
