A Toyota Corolla Altis with the design of the GR Sport version has been spotted in Hanoi. This is the first time a Corolla Altis GR Sport has appeared in Vietnam. This car carries the design of the facelift version (mid-life upgrade) introduced in the Thai market in June 2023.
It is not excluded the possibility that this is a regular Toyota Corolla Altis, upgraded with the bodykit of GR Sport. However, according to observations, this car has the same interior as the GR Sport version in Thailand.
Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport is the highest-end version of this model in the Thai market. Compared to the regular versions, the GR Sport has main changes in the exterior design with a sporty body kit and GR Sport-style wheels.
The front bumper is redesigned with sharper lines and more aggressive look. The two sides incorporate air vents, but the details are fake, not affecting the aerodynamics. The headlight cluster is the same full LED type as the 3 Corolla Altis versions currently on sale in the country. The difference is that the GR Sport version does not have front sensors.
On the side, the Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport does not have much difference compared to the regular versions except for the black painted mirror covers. The multi-spoke 17-inch wheels are finished in two colors. Similarly, the rear part of the car has no major changes except for the addition of the “GR Sport” logo and the rear bumper garnish.
Compared to the Thai version, the Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport is equipped with dual-zone automatic air conditioning, a fully digital speedometer of 12.3 inches that can change 4 display modes, a 9-inch touchscreen entertainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 4 USB-C ports, 1 USB-A port,…
The interior creates driving inspiration with red stitching, GR Sport logo appearing on the front seat backrests and the start button. Overall, the equipment of this version is not much different from the 2024 Corolla Altis officially sold in Vietnam.
In addition, the car also has the Toyota Safety Sense safety technology package, including automatic angle-adjustable headlights, collision warning, automatic braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, and intelligent cruise control.
If officially sold in the upcoming time, the Corolla Altis GR Sport will compete with the Civic RS – a sporty version.
