On the morning of March 18, the Management Board of the Ha Tinh Economic Zone organized a conference to announce the Master Plan for the expanded construction zone of the Gia Lach Industrial Park, with a scale of 1/2,000 in Nghi Xuan district.
At the conference, the Ha Tinh Economic Zone Management Board expressed the desire for the local authorities of Nghi Xuan district to widely disseminate the plan to the residents in the planning area in order to create consensus and high support for the implementation and operation of the Gia Lach Industrial Park, attracting investment and contributing to the local budget revenue.
Prior to this, the Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 578/QD-UBND approving the Master Plan for the expanded construction zone of the Gia Lach Industrial Park, with a scale of 1/2,000.
The expanded Gia Lach Industrial Park is located in Xuan An town, Xuan Vien commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province. The research scale is more than 310 hectares; the planning scale is over 194 hectares.
The expanded Gia Lach Industrial Park is adjacent to An Vien My Thanh road being invested in and constructed in the north; it is adjacent to existing residential areas in the south; it is adjacent to existing residential areas and agricultural land in the east; and it is adjacent to National Highway 1, which bypasses Hong Linh town, in the west.
The purpose of the Master Plan for the expanded Gia Lach Industrial Park is to enhance investment efficiency, maximize the utilization of industrial development land funds, contribute to the construction of a synchronous economic, infrastructure, and urban system in Nghi Xuan district, with the nucleus being Hong Linh town connected to Tien Dien town and Xuan An town; provide a legal basis for the implementation and management of construction projects according to the plan.
The Gia Lach Industrial Park is a multi-sector industrial park that ensures environmental protection and safety, minimizing negative impacts on the surrounding environment.
In terms of infrastructure investment attraction orientation, the expanded Gia Lach Industrial Park gives priority to investing in transportation systems, electricity supply and lighting, water supply, drainage and wastewater treatment systems, solid waste management, and more.
The Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee assigns the Ha Tinh Economic Zone Management Board to take the lead and coordinate with relevant units and localities to issue regulations on planning management in accordance with the approved plan; organize public announcement of the plan; implement planning and land management in accordance with current regulations; organize propaganda and mobilize agencies, units, and people in the area to implement the plan.
The Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee assigns the Department of Construction to take the lead and coordinate with relevant departments and sectors to monitor, inspect, and guide the Ha Tinh Economic Zone Management Board in the implementation of the plan in accordance with regulations; timely report and propose related contents to the Provincial People’s Committee.
After completion, this will be a multi-sector industrial park that ensures environmental protection; contributes to the concrete realization of the development plan for the industrial parks in Ha Tinh province by 2030, with a vision towards 2050; enhances investment efficiency and maximizes the utilization of industrial development land funds.
