On March 15, Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott) – Ministry of Finance confirmed that there was a jackpot ticket in draw number 1,172 of the Mega 6/45 product. The lucky ticket won a prize worth over 25 billion VND with the numbers: 09 – 11 – 16 – 29 – 31 – 33.

In response to VTC News, a representative from Vietlott said that the lucky winner is a subscriber of Viettel mobile network.
Therefore, after deducting personal income tax as regulated, the owner of the lucky ticket will receive an amount of over 22.6 billion VND.
Previously, on February 29, Mr. H (living in Ho Chi Minh City) also received a big prize of nearly 56 billion VND from the Mega 6/45 product. Mr. H is the owner of a VinaPhone mobile subscription.
The winning numbers of Mr. H are 04 – 17 – 19 – 27 – 28 – 36. Mr. H is originally from Lam Dong province and currently resides in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. H shared that he bought the ticket while hanging out with friends in the early days of the new year. That day, he bought 1 set of numbers from the Mega 6/45 product and 2 sets of numbers from the Power 6/55 product. This is Mr. H’s habit of buying lottery tickets, he only buys a few tickets each time for luck.
While on the road, Mr. H received a notification message about winning the prize. Mr. H only thought it was a small prize because he had often won prizes worth 30,000 VND or 50,000 VND before.
Then, he checked his phone and saw a longer series of numbers than usual, so he thought he had won a big prize. However, he was on the road, so he put his phone away to go home and check.
When he got home, he carefully read the message, checked it on Vietlott’s website, and received a call from Vietlott’s representative, then he believed that he had won a Jackpot worth nearly 56 billion VND.
He plans to use the prize money to expand his business, take care of his family, and invest in real estate.
After receiving the prize, Mr. H donated 660 million VND to the Vietnamese Heart Fund to carry out social welfare activities.
The largest prize of Vietlott up to the present time is the Jackpot 1 prize of the Power 6/55 product worth over 303.8 billion VND. This prize was awarded to a lucky player in Hanoi in 2018.
