According to the introduction, the project has a total land area of over 10,000m2, in which the area for apartment buildings is 4,760m2, with a construction density of 46%. The remaining area is for schools, parks, transportation, and public utilities. The project has 80% social housing units and 20% commercial housing units.
The project has been roofed and is currently being finished on the inside and the facilities. It is expected to be handed over to customers in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Many experts believe that the development of social housing is an appropriate goal, meeting the urgent need for housing for low-income people in urban areas, industrial zone workers, etc. In response to the information that the Tân Đông Hiệp social housing project is being pushed to the same high selling prices as commercial housing, the competent authorities of Bình Dương province need to investigate and verify the situation.

According to updated information from the People’s Committee of Bình Dương province, the Tân Đông Hiệp social housing project is included in the list of socially-subsidized housing development projects in the province. The project consists of 882 units with a total investment capital of 768 billion dong, with a loan demand of 537 billion dong. The project has the participation of the Bình Dương Social Policy Bank to support people in accessing low-interest capital for housing purchase.
