Converted at the exchange rate of USD at banks, the world gold price is equivalent to 64.5 million dong per tael, while converted at the exchange rate of USD on the free market it is equivalent to 66.5 million dong per tael.
From the level of 2,200 USD/ounce to the current level, the world gold price has been under pressure recently after the inflation data of the US was announced last week. The higher-than-expected inflation has raised expectations that the US Federal Reserve will maintain a high-interest rate stance for an extended period. This scenario has reinforced the yields on US Treasury bonds, boosted the recovery of the US dollar, and exerted pressure on the yellow precious metal gold.
