The DCCI Summit 2024 conference is divided into 3 thematic sessions: the Data Center Room, the Cloud Room, and the AI Room.

In the Data Center Room session, experts will share insights on global data center market trends and best practices for building and operating high-density power racks to meet the infrastructure requirements for AI applications. They will also discuss the challenges of globalizing Vietnam’s data centers to meet international standards and sustainability.

In the Cloud Room session, various topics will be covered, including the deployment of cloud computing in practical fields such as Edge Cloud Computing in finance, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, e-commerce, the platform for managing data automatically in hybrid clouds, multi-cloud and hybrid clouds, Cloud FinOps, data sovereignty, data protection, optimization and system management solutions, and the use of AI technology in behavior analysis and process automation.

Unlike previous years, the DCCI Summit 2024 introduces a new theme that is currently being discussed worldwide: Artificial Intelligence (AI).

In the AI session, experts from reputable global and Vietnamese technology companies such as Qualcomm, Radware, and Viettel AI will discuss practical applications and optimal deployment strategies for AI in Vietnam. Topics include AI in attack and defense information security, AI in marketing and sales strategies, high-performance AI infrastructure, and cost savings, which are the keys to development in the AI era.

In addition to the thematic sessions, participants will have the opportunity to visit and experience the booths of major technology companies, interact with Viettel’s Human AI – Vi An, and explore Viettel IDC’s state-of-the-art data center for AI through virtual reality (VR) technology. This data center, with the largest capacity in Vietnam, welcomed its first customers in March.

In the afternoon, the “CxO Roundtable: Green Tech for Green Future” workshop will gather leading sustainable development consultants from around the world, Viettel IDC representatives, and international enterprises to discuss global green technology trends and real-world applications for Vietnamese businesses.

The DCCI Summit is an ambitious milestone for Viettel IDC after 16 years of establishment and development with the mission of pioneering new solutions and technologies for the digital society. It is also one of the strategies to explore new frontiers and anticipate the technology development trends of Viettel.

According to statistics, the global data center market is estimated to reach approximately $70 billion in 2023 and maintain a steady compound annual growth rate of around 14.7% until 2030.

The Asia Pacific (APAC) region is currently experiencing higher data center growth rates compared to other regions. APAC’s market size is valued at around $30 billion, with a compound annual growth rate of 18.9% until 2028. The projected market size of Vietnam’s data center market is $1.266 billion by 2030, with an average annual growth rate of 10.8%.

Meanwhile, the Asia Pacific cloud market is forecasted to have the highest growth rate by 2030 due to rapid and strong industrialization processes, government initiatives and support, clear awareness of digital transformation in enterprises, increasing investments in ICT infrastructure, industrial shift to emerging markets in the region, and concentration and growth in the ICT sector. In the Vietnamese market, the projected market size for cloud computing services is over $1.2 billion by 2030.
